Disaster Relief

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

When disaster strikes volunteers from around the country, converge to help those in need. These volunteers and companies bring water, food, and supplies to help those injured and ensure that everyone has fresh water and food to eat. As well, all know, disaster relief and the reconstruction after the tornado, flood, or hurricane can take many months and in some cases years to get everything back to normal.

The one thing that is often ignored is the need for restroom facilities. When disaster strikes many times water is not available, that is why so many volunteers bring fresh water for those that have been hit and lose their homes or that their homes are unlivable at the time. The one thing that many do not think about is the need for restroom facilities.

VIP To Go can be the solution. Renting restroom trailers and even shower trailers can be a great way to provide the needs of not only the individuals that have lost their homes, but also even the volunteers that will also need these types of facilities.

The great thing about the VIP To Go luxury restroom trailers is that you can even rent one that comes with its own water tank, so you do not have to worry about supplying water to operate the restroom trailer. These unique trailers offer a men’s side, women’s side, and even one with a family area with a baby changing area. The choices are endless but will certainly provide individuals with a bit of comfort during the clean up after a disaster.

Shelters for those hit by disasters, as well, do not often have the proper restroom facilities for all those that need shelter. Just by renting a restroom trailer and placing outside of the building will provide the entire neighborhood a place to do their business if they do not have water in their home until utilities are repaired.

For those looking for a way to help those in need after a disaster, a VIP To Go portable restroom trailer or shower trailer is the answer. These can be rented for long term so all workers in the area will be able to enjoy the benefits.

Toilet offering the thrill of skiing

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Can you believe that in Japan in many different ski resorts they have redesigned toilets as a marketing campaign for Georgia Max Coffee? You would think that the toilet would have posters plastered with people drinking coffee or some other coffee related activity, however, the entire restroom looks like you are on top of a hill looking down ready to make that flying down hill stunt on skis. As a matter of fact, where you place your feet while sitting on the toilet is a pair of skis painted on the floor. The only place you will find advertising for the coffee is on the toilet paper and on the back wall behind the toilet. The statement is that caffeine gives you a thrill.

As for me, I think after being out on the slopes all day, I do not want to sit in a restroom that looks like the great outdoors. I will be ready for a bit more luxury than that. I will be cold, wet, and wanting to finish my business in a nice warm restroom that does not remind of the ski slopes.

Instead of terrifying me with a long downhill ski slope, I would rather walk into a portable restroom trailer with heat, wooden floors, stalls, and a pedestal sink. Now, this sounds like a way to end a day on the slopes. Even with soft music, playing in the background would be an added bonus.

Guess what, the above scenario with a luxury restroom trailer is possible with VIP To Go. They have a large variety of portable restroom trailers for rent for short term or long term. Therefore, if you really want to give your skiers a bit of comfort forget the crazy advertising campaigns and get a portable restroom that will give them some coziness as well as luxury.

Toilet sold for $15,000

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

What a toilet sold for £9,500 pounds ($15,000)? You must be joking. No, the truth is the toilet belonged to the legendary John Lennon of the Beatles. Organizers expected the toilet to sell for much less around ten times less.

The toilet was in one of John Lennon’s home in Titenhurst Park in Berkshire, England. John Lennon used this very toilet from 1969 until 1972, we all know why.

During the time the home was been refurbished, this famous toilet was given to the homebuilder, who placed it in a shed where it stayed for 40 years. His son-in-law decided to put the toilet up for auction and was greatly surprised when someone offered to pay £9,500 for it.

Now, I wonder if the owner is going to put the toilet in his house and allow others to sit on this musical throne. I doubt it. Maybe he should invest in a portable restroom outside his home so no one will ask if they can just sit on the toilet. They will get the hint when they see the porta potty outside.

Of course, he could always rent a luxurious portable restroom trailer via VIP To Go that will at least give his visitors some comfort while they wait in line to see his new prize possession. Honestly, he should charge admission for looking at the toilet and admission for using his elegant porta potty. I bet the portable restroom trailer is better looking and better equipped than just a toilet used in a house in England 40 years ago. Oh well, everyone has to collect something. I guess toilets are this persons dream collectible.

I would prefer to use a restroom trailer when I have to go than to wait in line just hoping to get a peak of the John Lennon toilet. If one toilet is worth so much, just consider how much a ten-unit portable restroom trailer used by rock bands at concerts might be worth.

Outdoor Enthusiasts Speak Up!

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Outdoor enthusiasts, of course, love being outdoors and enjoy all kinds of activities. No matter what you may enjoy doing while outdoors the worst part is that when you get outdoors you want to stay as long as possible whether you are hiking, jogging, or letting the kids play at the park. The problem is that many public areas that provide you with all kinds of outdoor activities do not provide adequate restroom trailers or the odor is so bad you do not want to enter let alone take in the baby to change a diaper. This means you have to run back home in order to go the restroom or use the car to change the babies diaper.

It is time for all outdoor enthusiasts to talk to the city or the manager of the park, national park, or other outdoor activity. VIP To Go offers a wide array of public portable restrooms that are very luxurious. As a matter of fact, some are even a bit more elegant than our own restrooms at home.

Instead of planning your outdoor activities so you can get home for potty time, talk with the city or others in charge of the areas you enjoy spending your days. If these officials realize just how much their parks and other outdoor recreational areas are being used and what their residents need in order to enjoy the areas, they will be more than interested in providing residents with their needs.

Just ask for luxury restroom trailers with a family area offering changing tables and a women’s side offering stalls and sinks, and a men’s side offering urinals, stalls, and sinks. Hey, if it is a national park and mountain climbing, camping, and hiking are possibilities, ask for a portable shower trailer as well.

When you are ready to ask, be sure to have your facts straight on where they can find portable restroom trailer rentals and portable shower rentals. VIP To Go will provide you with all the information you need to present at the next community meeting, so the next time you wish to stay all day at the park, you will have a nice luxury portable restroom to enjoy.

Intelligence Toilet versus Luxury Portable Toilets

Monday, August 30th, 2010

In Japan, the Daiwa House has created a new toilet which is the rave mainly geared toward the elderly. The new toilet, Intelligence Toilet will perform an analysis on a person’s urine; take their blood pressure, weight, and body temperature while the person is using the bathroom. There is a gadget in the bowl that determines the sugar levels in the urine and while the person is sitting doing their business, a blood pressure cuff on the arm will monitor the blood pressure. The floor scale is integrated into the floor and will provide the person with their weight and all this information will be presented on the computer screen that is mounted to the wall. This toilet will only be able to work for up to five people, so forget about integrating into a public place, as the computer only has enough memory for five individuals. The cost is between $4,100 to $5,850.

Now, lets look at the luxury portable toilets from VIP To Go. They are not designed to check on your health, but they are designed for comfort and for several individuals to use the facilities even at the same time. With luxury portable toilets, you can rest and relax, listen to music while doing your business and then wash your hands with fresh water.

The great thing about luxury portable restrooms is they can be placed in many different locations as long as the terrain is flat and offer a wide array of features. Some even have showers for those sweaty jogs or hiking trails. You just have to remember to bring along a towel and extra clothing.

If it were I, I would rather enjoy some easy listening music while I go, than to have a cuff around my arm and know that I am being weighed at the same. Sounds like something for the doctor’s office to me and not while doing my business. What about you? Luxury or Intelligence – What do you want from a toilet?

Porta-Potty and Football – What do they have in Common?

Friday, August 20th, 2010

They are both on the football field but not in the capacity, you might think. The Kansas City Chiefs are now using porta-pottys in their training.

The porta-pottys are being used during training for Running Backs. Quite ingenious and will get those football players ready for just about anything. The way it works is that the running back sits in the porta-pot with the door closed. The coach yells GO! Another player will then open the door, the football is thrown and the running back sitting in the porta-pot must catch the pass, which he sees just as the door is opening.

This new way training, as explained by Charlie Wies, the Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator began in 1994 when he was with the Patriots, which he learned from Mike Pope.

Now, if the football fans could get the schools to rent luxury restroom trailers for the fans, all would be good. Porta-Potties are nothing like the ones that are being used in football training today. Luxury restroom trailers have all kinds of amenities and elegant interior that will make fans more comfortable when they have to go.

The growing trend in porta-pots are nothing to ignore, you can find these luxury restroom facilities in many different locations, but of course not on the football field. The football players would certainly always miss the pass if they were in one of these gorgeous restrooms. Their minds would be elsewhere. The good news is that fans will enjoy the baby changing stations, the private stalls, and the urinals. Even running water in the sinks.

As long as football teams are adding porta pots to their training sessions, the fans are sure to want something better and the answer is luxury restroom trailers.
